As far as I know (I might be wrong) Polyrhachis species that tend to be polygynous don't live further than a few years or so.

Do you know any species that has longer lifespan and is not that difficult to keep?

I was thinking maybe P. vermiculosa, but I have no information regarding the lifespan question.
