Hi all! Just passed my theory test and excited to get moving onto the next steps to passing a practical test.
A little background, I did some lessons about 6-8 years ago while in school but never moved onto actually taking tests due to nerves and an instructor that I didn't feel comfortable with. Within the past 6 months I've been back in the car and learning to drive with family and feel incredibly comfortable now.
I understand that I am not a super experienced driver by any means, but I feel very confident in my driving and so do the people that sit in a car with me whilst I am driving.
Now that I have passed my theory, should I look to book a lesson properly with a qualified instructor? Due to me learning with family for the most part I haven't really looked into booking lessons recently and would love some advice on how to find an instructor that is willing to simply do 1 - 4 lessons with me in order to get test prepped. Most of the places that are well known "driving schools" seem to want you to take a course which comes out extremely expensive and I am not in the market for a 12 week course lol.
Or is booking with an instructor not entirely neccessary? Have people found that simply learning with family is enough once they have enough time behind the wheel?
Thanks for any help! Much appreciated!
