My wife was driving one of our MMEs today, on the highway while using adaptive cruise control. Out of nowhere the card tried to do a hard veer into the next lane, which would have caused a collision with another car in that lane.

Luckily, she had her hands on the wheel and responded quickly, correcting back into her own lane. The correction caused the car to fishtail, but she was able to get it back under control and is fine.

Has anyone else experienced erratic behaviour from the assisted driving system like this? Pretty scary.
