On April 8th, 2026 Deltek announced that it will sunset Costpoint on-premise in April 2028.

For years we were promised that Costpoint will always be supported on-premise. Well, Deltek has altered the deal. Pray they don’t alter it any further.

First cost estimate I’ve seen is 2x the current support only cost. And every year the cloud cost will increase 10%.

Parent Company Roper’s stock is down 40% from the 52 week high (584-> 354). Is this their desperate response for more revenue?

How are others handling this? Will enough customers push back to stall this change? What do you think?
