Fit & Sizing: This fits a tad bit narrow, but it has a roomy toebox. The length is a bit long but not too much. This fits like my Kiprun KD900X.2. The Boom Fiber upper is very breathable.
Outsole grip & durability: Li Ning’s GCR is good enough for wet roads and trails but Continental rubber from Adidas and Puma grip from Puma is still top notch. So far, the upper is holding up but I’m very doubtful on the GCR outsole since it already started to show signs of wear early on (after only around 30-40kms of use)
Feel: This is a no frills daily trainer. The foam feels so close to Saucony’s PWR run foam. It does not feel like the Lightstrike Pro of the Evo SL. Idk why some are saying that this an Evo SL killer/competitor. It’s not. The Evo SL is way better in terms of performance or fun. But if you’re someone like me who loves the classic feel of running shoes and/or firm foams, you’ll love this one. It does not feel like a racing flat though.
Value: Got this for 2,036 last March on a sale so I’d rate this a 10/10 for myself. But I’ll rate this a solid 8/10 based on the price it normally sells for. Minus points for the laces (I had to replace it with sawtooth laces) and the doubtful outsole durability. Really good shoe overall. Li Ning 💯
