My little stairway to heaven.

I know I’m not a doctor but sometimes I just get lucky. Earlier today I pulled two really nice jumbled ladder bills from the same bank strap. When I got home I thought I’d pull my book out and share my small collection of them. Still missing a 20, but I’m sure as long as i don’t become a doctor I’ll find one soon. Then my 5’s of 5. Love those too.

It’s also prompted me to sort out the rest of my bills. I’ve got all manner of them. Everything from a low serial to a 2013 double run star note. Ok, I have three double run notes. Not a match yet but that could happen any day now.

Binaries and bookends and quad repeaters OH MY!

I’ll get them together this week and post a few shots of them. This is just the first.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Found a couple jumbled ladders today in the same strap

Generally they aren’t considered a big deal but it’s funny that I found them both a few bills apart in the same bank strap.

I bought a lotto ticket, so anyone who needs a personal load, soon I’ll have between 2 and (checks powerball)….231 million.

26 dollar in pennies, the teller was even excited to give them to me.

Friday afternoon my favorite bank teller sent me a text to tell me someone just turned in 26 dollars in pennies and that I could come get the whole lot of them.

Now, I’m not a doctor but I think they were being used as ballast in a toilet upper deck. People used to put all manner of things in there to reduce water usage. It feels like someone dumped on me anyhow.

They can’t all be bangers.

Hope you are having a great Easter!

Now, I know I’m not a doctor so I don’t usually wear long coats. But imma bout to be famous for this one, so you all might wanna grab onto my coat tails. A first of its kind find, a steeley 1940 wheat.

I know that as a professional not a doctor I shouldn’t grade my own coins. So before I send this one off for verification I wanted to get a wide net community reaction to this super-duperderoo find I came across in last nights hunt. Any and all professional PMD experts should sound off.

It’s sticks to a magnet, so I know it’s a furry coin. It does have a few stains and it’s super shiny, so it doesn’t get any marks for its patina.

I think maybe a few days in a rock tumbler with low grade limestone should freshen it right up.

I know I’ve been here and there this week, peeking in through the windows, but this week should be full on go.

Have a great Saturday!

115 buffalos, 20 with no date, three 1913 type 1’s, four war nickels, eight 2024’s and four 2009’s. A personal record for a three box hunt.

Over the past two weeks the kids and I have been having a blast. We’ve found more buffalos in three boxes than I’ve found in almost my entire coin hunting career. I average a war nickel or buffalo a box. Excuse me, USED TO average a war nickel or buffalo a box.

Last week I posted a video of me pulling 10 Buffalos from one roll.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CRH_Porn/comments/1rzvirj/watch_me_find_10_buffalo_nickels_in_one_bank/

This morning we were able to finish the boxes and get a tally on just the amount of them. 95 buffalos with date or enough of it to accurately account for it. No extreme key dates and one really pretty 1945-S. The kids want to get a bottle of nicadate for the rest. But I really don’t care to do it so I might let them experiment and see what they come up with.

Now that I have them. I really don’t know what to do with them. I ordered two new boxes of flips and will sort them all out. Get an accurate count of how many per date.
