Am I in the wrong?
So on one particularly busy Monday evening we had to have three cashiers checking people out because the lines were all the way down the isles, well my coworker did the “the next guest can line up on register 3” and no one moved, so as I was sitting down I said and I can admit rather loudly, “I CAN TAKE THE NEXT CUSTOMER ON REGISTER 3” and a small family of a woman, man and a small child were the ones that came to my line. They were taking extremely long to load groceries and I kept having to one code and I noticed the man was fixing to put a case of waters on the belt and I said “I actually already put in the code for that you don’t have to load it on the belt” very sweetly and he ignored me so I said “okay the code is in for that:) you can go ahead and put it in your buggy!” Continued to ignore me. So as the woman was paying I was tossing their groceries out of the way for the water to go into the cart and I could feel her watching me to the point she didn’t do the pin and cash back on the card reader, I got it clear enough for the water to go into the cart and I was a little bit irritated at that point and my shoulders were sore so I let the water fall off the register into the cart and the receipt printed and I tried to hand it to the man then the woman and neither took it so I said jokingly “somebody, anybody?” And she snatched it out of my hand and said “THANKS, YOURE VERY KIND” in a extremely condescending tone and shoved her cart almost into the customer behind me, I said “I wasn’t trying to be rude but have the day you deserve” mind you this all took place with a whole line of people waiting.
