hey guys, i js thought i should drop my 2 cents on this whole osm backlash, im open to talking and discussing your views too, so basically cbse moving to digital checking isnt a dumb move, atleast imo, india wants to grow in tech and still using old paper checking methods doesnt really make sense, countries like US, china UK have already shifted so this reaction is more about people not being comfortable with change. a lot of people are saying digital systems glitch and humans are safer but in manual checking many rechecks actually change marks because of simple mistakes like wrong totals or missed pages, a system might lag sometimes but humans get tired and make errors after checking for hours, digital marking removes those calculation mistakes so your marks end up being more accurate, cbse handles more than 30 million answer sheets and moving physical copies involves transport storage and multiple handling points where there is always some risk of damage or loss, once papers are scanned they are stored with backups and if something is unclear there is a process to check the original copy, people also feel like the system is unclear but it actually records how answers are checked which keeps things more consistent, if you are confident about what you wrote this system actually works in your favor, some are saying india isnt ready but no system starts perfectly and everything improves with use, we want progress but also resist the steps needed for it, there might be delays sometimes but that happens in most systems and they still function overall, saying this batch is unlucky doesnt really hold cus now marks depend more directly on what is written, if a page scan has an issue there are checks and the original paper is still there. Saying this will fail more students doesnt add up because results depend on answers, if results look stricter it just means checking is more precise, once you submit your paper you dont really have control over the process so stressing about it doesnt help, if your preparation is strong your marks reflect that clearly and if not it shows that too, this is just a system update and it will settle with time. and no mai sanyam bhardwaj nahi hu lol, mujhe bas laga ki there is a lot of stupid stuff going viral on the internet about how OSM is failing, glitching it certainly is but kahi toh start karna padega na?
