I’ve been facing the reality lately of spending my 40’s alone. I’m late 30’s and soon 40, I live in the UK on the south coast and my career is really important to me, I make enough to get by but it takes a lot of my time. As the years go by my thoughts turn more and more to relationships. I’ve had some dates in recent years but nothing that really clicked with anyone. I’ve just got Hinge for the 100th time and I might try Tinder, but deep down in all stark honesty, I’m not expecting to find a guy there.
The really is some people will spend their lives alone, sorry to be a downer here, just feel l needed to get this off my chest. I’m not looking for suggestions or hollow positivity. I’m losing hope of meeting someone.
Wishing you all the best.
