Have I improved?

I got critique on my last attempts at this like a week ago, and I've tried to improve since then.

I've been mainly studying skulls, ribcages and arms (I'm gonna study other parts, I just chose these 3 for now so I don't overload myself trying to learn all these bones/muscles at the same time.), because a lot of the critique I received basically said that my forms/anatomy were off, and some couldn't discern which body part was which/my characters didn't look human.

So I've made this drawing with the knowledge I've gained over the last week. Do my characters look more human? Do they look more 'correct'? Is what's happening more understandable?
