AUD in ~2 weeks after 8-year gap – Becker MCQs/TBS only, scoring 65–70%. Am I on track?

Hey everyone,

I’m sitting for AUD on May 26. I’ve been working in audit for almost a decade, but the last time I actually studied for exams was back in 2018, so it’s been about 8 years since I’ve been in “exam mode.”

Given the time crunch, I’ve been skipping Becker lectures and focusing mainly on MCQs and TBS. I’ve gone through most of the content this way and have been consistently scoring around 65%–70% on practice tests. I still plan to take SE-1 and SE-2.

Wanted to get some input from people who’ve recently taken AUD:

  1. Is this approach (MCQs + TBS, no lectures) enough at this stage?
  2. Are scores in the 65%–70% range a decent indicator that I’m on track?
  3. How representative are Becker SE scores vs the actual exam?
  4. Any last 2-week strategy you’d recommend to push into passing range?
  5. Also, how does the exam flow actually work — is it just ~100 questions over 4 hours, or is it broken into sections/testlets?

Would really appreciate any advice, especially from recent test-takers. Thanks in advance!
