Hi, I recently asked my cousin about a video and if I should post it. He told me to wait until I perfected it but he didn’t understand how much it takes for jokes to be “perfect”. I got a good reaction from the crowd with the original video anyways. He’s a musician so there process isn’t really much social media needed like how we are now. And I’m told to promote myself on the gram as much as possible. I’m not saying to post EVERY joke but I need content and it’s hard to overcome not navigating towards a consumers perspective. Hell non comedy wise I get told how many people appreciated my first video and how it inspires them(not to toot my own horn cause it does make me happy) why do I listen to their advice more than actual comics?
