I saw a video on YouTube recently by Taylor Bell about Le Labo on how they were environmentally conscious when founding the brand. Of course, now Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has acquired Le Labo, and I'm not sure how well that still holds.
So my question is, what fragrance houses are the most sustainable, eco-friendly, animal cruelty-free, and have biodegradable packaging?
I absolutely love Fferns packaging because it seems biodegradable, but I hate their scarcity feel and subscription model.
I also love well-sourced, high-quality ingredients with well-balanced compositions, and I appreciate that Le Labo gives you the option to buy fragrance in 500ml - (just in case you really love a fragrance and you want to save and store it)
Also, when it comes to the fragrance itself, I love things that evoke nature or natural things. My favorite houses so far are Fulton & Roark, Le Labo, Ffern, & Maison Margiela. I love more clean, fresh fragrances or yummy, clean fragrances. I just love clean natural.
Unisex is more my style, I dislike men's fragrances that are from big houses that all kinda smell the same or have the same DNA. (Marine for summer, Sickly sweet spicy winter).
I feel like I kind of went on a tangent, but yeah, any thoughts?
