I took the SAT a few months ago and got a 1480, with a 740 score for both math and r&w. My main goal is to get into UT Austin, but I’m obviously still applying to other universities. I’m not super interested in going to ivies, mostly because of the out-of-state cost, and plus I already know 1480 is too low for those schools. I have a decent amount of major-specific extracurriculars, 4.0 uw GPA and just barely made it into top 5% (but I’m putting aside auto-admit because idk if anything will change in the future). Is 1480 a good enough score for UT as a hopeful pre-med major, or should i retest for higher?
