Anyone else have Long Puts on these big stocks?

Anyone else here believe were in a bull trap situation and the market can flip on us at any second? I have 202.5 Puts expiring next Friday on NVDA. Just something tells me this will be the final bull run till we see in go down and then begin a more serious bull market.

Offer rescinded after completing background check, fingerprinting, and submitting U5 explanation and now they won't respond. How is this even legal?

I'm in the financial industry and recently went through what I thought was the final stretch of a hiring process — background check, fingerprinting, the works. Compliance reached out about a U5 disclosure from my previous firm and asked me to explain it.

I submitted a written explanation detailing the situation: I had dealt with difficult clients and used extended hold times, which was standard practice at my previous firm. I also had a direct conversation with the compliance specialist, who told me I had nothing to worry about and just needed to write a short summary of what happened. I did exactly that.

A short time later, I was told they were rescinding the offer.

No explanation. No reasoning. And now — they will not return my phone calls or respond to my emails.

I'm floored. A compliance specialist told me point blank I had nothing to worry about, I followed every step they asked of me, and now I'm being ghosted after they pulled the offer.

Any insight from people who've been through something similar or work in compliance would be really appreciated. This has been a gut punch and I genuinely don't know what my options are.

How 'terminal' is a U5 disclosure for someone with a Series 7?

I recently started my finance career at a call center that sponsored my Series 7. After a year, I was terminated for a 'Code of Conduct' violation regarding 'call avoidance.' At the time, I was dealing with a difficult management style and frequently handled high conflict, belligerent clients. In hindsight, I realize my method of handling these calls, specifically using extended hold times to deescalate the situation, was interpreted as call avoidance. I’m now looking for advice on how this termination and the U5 filing might impact my transition into my next role.
