dicey about Vellore bcs of the rules, and want to take cse :/

ps: gonna do masters abroad

vit is my only option from tier 1-2 private colleges wtv tier u wanna put it in. manipal phase 2 is left but I don't think I'll get something above mechanical there bcs i bombed my boards. im getting specialization in vellore and cse in chennai here otherwise srm, cu, muj all those tier 3 private colleges.

in 12th grade, im not diagnosed but I believe my state was as bad as depression. i could not sleep at nights without crying and my normal time to sleep had gone around 5-6 am and I would survive on a few hours of sleep mostly. i had 0 social life or friends to hang out and even if i had some i would not be allowed and my academics really went from 95.2% to expecting 75.basically im as demotivated as one can be and can't handle any more extreme pressure like i did before because of her. so overall I want a happier environment in college (i don't meant clubbing drinking im EXTREMELY opposed to that but just going out with my friends or spending quality time and not being in a stressful ratrace 24/7). i don't see that in vit after reading everything in this sub and others but I also don't have any better options. i feel like I'm choosing between a good career and 4 years of happiness and it feels stupid. i don't know what to do.
