I never received any type of closure from a guy that was in my life on and off for 2-3 years. We started off as friends through a mutual friendgroup, I ended up developing a crush and confessed, the feeling was mutual. Nothing else happened after that, I was 15 at the time and very inexperienced which made me too anxious to pursue anything with him.
We then lost contact for a while and after he reached out again we ended up sleeping together and our entire dynamic changed. We went in and out of contact again for almost 2 years until we ended it for forever. It's been 1.5 years of us not speaking and I still have a hard time completely letting go. Not because I miss him or want him back but because I really loved him and I know he did too.
He never gave me the closure I needed. But I'm wondering if receiving closure actually even changes anything?
