just got a scrambler 400x as my first “proper” bike… need advice from you guys 🙏
hii everyone
i finally pulled the trigger and got a second hand triumph scrambler 400x yesterday (the 400cc one). took me a LOT of confusion and back and forth before deciding, but yeah… here we are now 😅
the bike is about a year old, and before anyone asks, i did a full background check and everything is clean, so no issues there
coming to me, i’ve mostly ridden scootys (both petrol and ev) and commuter bikes like honda unicorn till now. so this is my first proper upgrade and honestly feels like a big jump
i’m still very new to this kind of bike, so i’d really appreciate any tips, advice, or things i should know going forward
main things i wanted to ask:
* what accessories should i get that are actually useful? (open to both practical and cosmetic stuff)
* what should i learn or practice to get fully comfortable with this bike?
* maintenance and cleaning tips for keeping it in good condition
* and literally anything else you wish you knew when you got your first bigger bike
would really appreciate any input, even small things. trying to learn as much as i can 🙌
