Is it normal that I feel pressure to start dating?

Hi everyone, i’m 22M. I have been single my entire life, recently i have been to a wedding / my friends have started to get gf’s. This has had me feeling like i should start dating. I’m not bad looking at all and could 100% get one, i run, go to the gym, i am 6’2.

Like I am in a weird state where I feel like i SHOULD start dating, but i’m not sure if I want too? I don’t know I am confused and honestly probably a little scared to start.

I have people around me that have used dating apps, which is probably the route I will go, just because I don’t go out much. My daily routine is mostly work-gym/run - play games with friends/watch tv - sleep. Is dating apps a good idea? I have heard they can be rough.

Any advice welcome, thanks.

When should I move out of my parents house?

Hi, i’m 22M, i just graduated college. I have a job making 80k a year. My parents said they are going to be charging me rent, 700$ a month. This is because i’m still on all of their medical / phone plans + food. I have more than enough saved up to move out. However financially it’s going to be way more especially because i want to live alone. Do I just suck it up and stay with my parents for a bit, the only downside to it is I can’t really do what i want all the time as I have to be wary of other people (my siblings and parents). I also feel like if i move out it will force me to be more social as right now i don’t really go out much.

What age did you guys move out? I know everyone is in different situations but would still be appreciated to hear some other perspectives. Thanks!
