I’ve got a 2014 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 that I’m looking to prep for long-distance touring.
I’m based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and I have a budget of around ₹80,000 to spend on both customisation and mechanical reliability.Since it’s a 10-year-old bike, my priority is making it bulletproof for the highways while improving comfort.
Here is what I’m looking for:
Mechanical Upgrades: What should I prioritise? (Clutch assembly, better braking, lighting, or suspension?)
Touring Comfort: Recommendations for seats (touring seats/gel pads) and handlebars that reduce vibration?
Luggage: Best pannier stays or top racks compatible with the TB350?
Nationwide Custom Shops: Can you suggest high-quality custom houses in India (like EIMOR Customs in Hyderabad or Rajputana Customs in Jaipur) where I can send my bike? I need a shop that is experienced in handling out-of-station bikes, doing a full mechanical/touring build, and shipping it back to Raipur safely.
I’m not looking for loud exhausts or purely cosmetic "show" mods—I want performance and reliability for the road.Would love to hear from fellow TB owners or riders from Chhattisgarh!
