Islamic Seminary in Knoxville, TN

Has anyone heard of Tayseer Seminary - I'm curious what you've heard?

If you're a Muslim who's ever felt like you wanted to devote time to studying deen but didn't know where to start, or felt like traditional religious education was disconnected from the realities of being a Muslim in America, look into Tayseer Seminary in Knoxville, TN.

It's a one year program that covers the core Islamic sciences in a comprehensive way but the classroom instruction is just one aspect of a broader experience. There is a strong emphasis on spiritual experiences - daily dhikr, qiyam, and extra worship are just as important if not more than the academic portion. In addition there is focus on companionship and community, so you are actively learning about community work, da'wa, etc.

Knoxville is also an ideal setting, situated near the Smokies and being home to an inclusive, supportive Muslim community. The city is small enough to feel like an escape and targe enough to still be convenient.

Any way I found Tayseer to be a a last refuge in these strange times that we live in, not saying it's perfect but if you're looking for genuine and human, I'd look into it.
