I have completed 1 year of mechanical engineering in SRH Heidelberg and I would like to transfer to OTH Regensburg International Mechanical Engineer, i dont care if i start from semester 1.

Anabin website says I would probably need to do studentkolleg with my school leaving diploma, but as I have 1 succesful year of study in srh (58ects) it says its direct entry.

It would be a pain in the ass to do student kolleg and I just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this or if someone can help me out

Hey, I’m currently studying Mechanical Engineering at SRH and looking to transfer to OTH Regensburg for the same degree. Has anyone transferred from a private uni to a public one in Germany, specifically in engineering?

Did they recognize your credits/semester?
• What was the process like with the admissions office?
• Anything you wish you’d known before?

Really anything helps
