Does anyone know how to force my follower to wear any armor/clothes I give them? My follower has plenty of mods but decides to stick to the default armor they have, even though I gave them an upgraded Ebony Armor, they still refuse

For some reason, when I apply a preset I downloaded, the body of my character turns purple. The head, feet and hands are the skin color they have to be. Any solutions?
