Lads, I love spending all my time outdoors in the summer, all the cheap furniture I got a few years back has finally given up the goose, and I will have more free time this year to do some bits around the place to make it less shit.
But I've lofty plans of setting up a small portion of our decently sized garden, in the stix so it's like half an acre of nothing, my idea is to kit it out with some seating, a table & a bbq for when the sun pops out but Ireland is Ireland, so I've been looking online at sheds/garden rooms etc, a typical pergola without walls is a complete waste of money imo - we just don't get the weather for them, but I see them everywhere in my searches.
I've seen people building their own timber sheds with slatted windows/walls & that's class, but I don't have the ability to build things without instructions, it's just not in me, and I haven't much in the way of tools either.
Has anyone bought anything they're happy with in terms of a garden room or whatever that could be nice to use year round?
I've seen a few shed type structures on the likes of outdoorliving & shedfactory ireland. Kinda hoping to see if anyone's bought similar and can speak to the quality of them?
I pretty much want to build something onto/adjacent to the gable of an existing garage, pave it or deck around it, and have a nice 'outdoor' retreat for year round use. Am I mad?
Budgets like 10k which probably isn't nearly enough either?
A man can dream, I guess I'm looking for a bit of inspiration or just some abuse to bring me back to earth.🤷♂️
