I’ve been thinking a lot about how people decide to buy VR apps, especially as I’ve been building one myself (trailer below for context).
What I’m realizing is most people don’t just look at price, they look at what they’re actually getting.
Like: Does it feel like a full experience or just something you try once? Is there progression or a reason to come back? Does it feel more like a “game” or something deeper?
For me it usually breaks down like:
$10–$15 → quick try
$20–$30 → solid buy
$40+ → only if it feels like there’s real depth
