Hygienist noticed it during a routine cleaning. My normal dentist wasn’t there to see it, but the other dentist in the office just looked at it and said to come back in a month.

It doesn’t feel any different than the rest of my gum line and doesn’t hurt or bleed. Is it a callous?

My hygienist saw it last Thursday when I got my teeth cleaned. My usual dentist wasn’t there so the other dentist in the office looked but didn’t say anything besides come back in a month to see if it’s still there.

It doesn’t bleed and I can’t really feel it if I run my tongue or finger over it, but it seems like it’s just on the top layer of the gums.
