Looking for an Instagram Reel: hand-drawn sketchbook animation of a sad girl turning into a skull/skeleton, with “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star Audio
Hi everyone, I’m trying to find an Instagram Reel I saw about a year ago.
It was a hand-drawn animation done in a notebook/jotter/sketchbook. The artist kept drawing the same girl over and over, and the pages were gradually ripped/removed to create an animation effect.
From what I remember, the girl seemed very sad or emotionally overwhelmed. At some point, she started smiling in a disturbing/sad way, and the ending had a dark implication. The final image became a skull, or possibly just her skull, not a full skeleton.
The audio was “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star, or at least that song was strongly connected to the Reel.
