My sister bought ENMY. acrylic markers and I've been trying them as of recently. I don't usually use colored mediums so this was an experience.
Basically, why did she come out looking like an alien 👽(she still cute tho). I struggled with the values and "blending" them. I was trying to go for that block-like/scratch-like style but didn't go as well to me. I also struggle with the colour-layering, coloring a base layer and then adding from there. Try to give me advice in reference to the colours I had.
I definitely see and I tend to exaggerate the features (eyes) and lost that space between her right eye and hair (side temple). I lost sight of both her nose and ears. My goal is for semi-realism.
Any tips or resources I can look at for acrylic medium and colour layering? Everything else is welcome as well!
