Baso - one more time.

My buddy and I went last Thursday (posted pics to the sub) and went back last night.

This visit we got: aka ebi (diced sweet shrimp), maitake (a must order), lettuce (fun flavor but can skip this), ribeye, and the cheesecake.

The two standouts on the menu are the endive dish (ordered last visit) and the maitake. Absolutely delish. Between the pork chop and the ribeye, I say go pork chop.

Hint: don’t be afraid to ask for half orders of dishes. Many of them can be done. The Maitake pictured is a half order.

Last hint: if it’s just 2 people going, put on your reservation or call to request the chefs counter directly at the fire. It’s fun watching them and plus the heat is nice b/c the place is usually pretty cold temp.
