My therapist just told me she’s quitting at the end of this month and i want to throw up
Like the title said i just got news that my therapist of like 3+ years is quitting at her current practice at the end of this month, and she didn’t say where she’s going just that she’d give recommendations for a new therapist if i wanted. On top of this i also had another upsetting thing happen today that i wanted to talk about with her. We have 2 sessions left and then that’s it. I’m so fucking sad. She’s basically been my only support system (besides my parents but they are part of the problem) for the entire time and shes helped me through being suicidal and my struggles with depression and losing my only friend. I’m autistic and really struggle with change and i can’t cope with this. Normally she’d be the person i’d talk with this about but she’s the fucking problem here. My parents are no help and my mom is also upset about her quitting and i don’t know what to do.
