Can someone please help me understand what on earth is going on with my energy bills? My partner has tried multiple multiple times to get an answer on what is happening and we just arent getting one and its been years. We were overcharged a few years ago and were refunded thousands in balance, then were told it wouldnt happen again. And it basically hasn't stopped.

We were even told by an advisor at the time not to pay the bill. I can see no explanation how we can hit this kind of a bill without doing something drastically different in our day to day. Our bill was even cheaper in November when we had the heating on. Now the heating is off its more than triple? Compared to March last year we are paying QUADRUPLE. We live in a 2 bed flat and are both out of the house for 10+ hours a day. This is just per month too..

My partners mainly been dealing with this but she hit her limit today when an advisor outright said he didnt belive her when she told him we aren't doing anything differently. He then called my girlfriend a liar when she said she was home at X date when she realised after we were in Spain for 4 days, and instantly used it as an excuse to why our bill was £400 cheaper. Which clearly £400 in 4 days in a 2 bed flat.. surely you can think to yourself hmm no that doesn't make sense?

Obviously this has gotten me absolutely fuming as it's literally been years now and I'm disgusted by the outright lack of empathy more than anything and also the lack of professionalism when clearly, something cant be right?

I'm most shocked at the advisors attitude, I always try to be polite as does my partner to customer service as I work in a service roll, but this just isnt on.. no excuse whatsoever for this kind of behaviour.
