Breast cancer (grade 3, 4.5 cm) – looking into nutrition, supplements, biohacking alongside treatment

Title:

I’m 58 and was recently diagnosed with invasive breast cancer (grade 3, tumor was about 4.5 cm). I already had surgery and they removed it with clear margins, but I’m still waiting on more details (ER/PR/HER2, lymph nodes, etc.) to know what’s next.

I’m obviously following doctors and will do whatever treatment is needed, but at the same time I’m trying to understand what I can do on my side to support my body.

I’ve been reading a lot about nutrition, supplements, lifestyle, etc., but honestly there’s so much conflicting info out there.

So I wanted to ask here:

- Has anyone gone through something similar and added specific foods or supplements that helped during treatment/recovery?

- Anything that’s actually backed by real experience (not just internet hype)?

- Vitamins that are worth it or completely useless?

- Anything to avoid that could make things worse?

- Things like fasting, keto, anti-inflammatory diet, etc. – did any of that make a real difference for you?

I’m not looking for miracle cures, just trying to optimize everything I can on my side while going through this.

Appreciate any real experiences or insights 🙏

58F just diagnosed with invasive breast cancer (4.5cm, grade 3) – trying to understand how serious this is

Hi everyone,

I’m 58 years old and I was recently diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. The tumor was about 4.5 cm and grade 3. I already had surgery and they removed it, and I was told the margins are clear.

I’m trying to understand what this really means for me.

It didn’t hurt at all and I had it for almost a year before getting it checked, which makes me worried that I waited too long.

I have a few questions if anyone here has gone through something similar:

- How serious is grade 3 in my case?

- Is this something that can be cured or more something to manage long-term?

- What usually comes next after surgery? (chemo, radiation, etc.)

- Has anyone here had a similar size tumor and outcome?

Also, if there are any recommendations about lifestyle, food, or things to avoid during treatment, I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for reading 🙏

My mom (58) just diagnosed with invasive breast cancer (4.5cm, grade 3)

Hey everyone,

I’m posting because I’m honestly overwhelmed and don’t know where to start.

My mom is 58, she has 3 kids, and about a year ago she noticed a lump in her breast. It didn’t hurt at all so we didn’t think it was something serious at first. But it kept growing over time.

She finally did all the exams (mammogram + echo), then surgery, and now we got the pathology results back… and it says invasive breast cancer, grade 3, around 4.5 cm.

They removed the tumor and said the margins are clean, which I heard is a good thing, but I’m still really scared because of the “grade 3” part.

I have so many questions in my head right now:

\- How serious is this really?

\- Is this something that can be cured or just controlled?

\- What are the chances she can live a normal life again after treatment?

\- Did anyone here go through something similar (same size / grade)?

Also, if anyone has advice:

\- What should we focus on now?

\- Are there things that actually help during treatment (food, vitamins, lifestyle)?

\- Is there anything we should avoid?

I’m trying to stay strong for her but honestly I’m scared and confused. Any real experiences or advice would mean a lot.

Thank you 🙏
