My (26F) boyfriend (30M) doesn't initiate sex any more
Hi everyone, this has been bothering me for a while, and it's starting to make me feel pretty insecure, so I decided to come here for advice.
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year now. Everything has been going great, and he's genuinely the sweetest and most caring guy I've met. However, I noticed he's stopped initiating sex. When we do have sex he doesn't perform oral either.
When we first started dating almost a year ago we had sex pretty regularly. We were only able to see each other on the weekends, but we'd be intimate once or twice over the course of the weekend. I've moved in since then, so distance is no longer an issue. From the day I moved in, he stopped initiating sex. I found that whenever we have sex it's because I initiate. At first, I assumed my sex drive was just higher than his and decided to hold off and let him initiate. He didn't make any moves for a whole 2 weeks until I caved. He's also stopped performing oral on me entirely. Granted, when we were dating, it wasn't commonplace either, but with everything else going on, I can't help but feel insecure about it. Like there's something wrong with me.
Our relationship otherwise has been phenomenal. He's very caring and considerate of me. I feel like he goes above and beyond to make sure im happy, and i try to do the same for him. We're still intimate in other ways. We're constantly kissing, hugging, cuddling, etc. Just nothing from him when it comes to sex.
I do have insecurities about my weight and STD status that I feel play a huge part in how I feel, but he's known about both prior to the first date and still agreed to meet and date me, so I'm stumped.
I'm starting to feel like he loves me but doesn't desire me.
Am I thinking too hard into this?
EDIT TO ADD: I meant to include that I tried initiating today, but he straight up declined. Afterward, he said he was tired (even though just moments before he was talking about doing things around the house in a bit). I asked if he was okay, and he said he was and fell asleep. He's currently sleeping, and I took a walk to clear my head.
