So I got approved for a new MBNA Platinum Plus Rewards mastercard over a month and a half ago on March 11th for $12k, and shortly after I was approved I tried making a large purchase for close to my credit limit and I was told that my account is under review, they asked me standard questions from my credit report like what other credit cards do you have, where else have you lived etc. and I was told that they’d get back to me in 7-10 business days. I have no idea what the hold up is, and every time I call them I’m on hold for 30 minutes at least and the call may even get disconnected…. just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this before…. MBNA has to be one of the worst financial institutions that I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with
