>!I have never been a fan of Mateo but he slowly grew on me. I was fairly scared in the ending of season but this episode seeing Chey wanting to avoid cuz of her past jail visit's and then them bitching about other people made me cry so hard. I guess we never appreciate the smallest things until its gone.!<

It is really interesting to me that them searching for the V1 has taken almost 5 eps already, which may be fine television but is definitely not the finale you would expect from a tv show with many many characters with so much more. Keep in mind that if you think some of these are nitpicky, only 2 episodes are left of the entire show and yet this is what they choose to actually show on screen.

ON SCREEN

  1. Blood Coming out of the A** of a test subject for almost a minute straight.
  2. The legend's movie theatre job & Starlight cracking very unfunny dick jokes. I put both in one cuz by themselves they are not enough.
  3. A payoff to something that hasn't even been setup yet: BOMBSIGHT A.K.A the Mcguffin for the last 2 episodes. Its all exposition exposition exposition. At this point it could not have been more clear it is a Vought Rising ad, which... hey... good on you but this big of a plotline in the final season? idk about that.
  4. An old guy swinging his balls and choking people with it.

OFF SCREEN

  1. Starlight's history with Oh Father. Oh father, again(its a pattern at this point), is a character introduced in this season and still is like one of the most important to the plot. This is the final season, come on! And even for their past together, they just talk like they knew each other very well without any flashback footage. Also, obviously, there was no mentions of him in the previous seasons because he is a last minute addition. To be fair, Firecracker was a similar case but she was a fleshed out character and didn't just get added in the last season as a plot device.
  2. The Deep witnessing a genocide. I get that the deep is not supposed to be taken seriously and they kinda play off their pain by making the dying fish speak in a funny way. But clearly, those billions of fishes mean a lot to him. So, instead of just showing the aftermath, watching him watching his friends die while he is helpless would be a great addition to both the story and his character. Also an underwater diving scene with oil all around could be visually stunning if done right.

But just to show that I am not hating for the sake of it, I will tell you that I did love the Immortality argument and the main couples getting a bit closer, Kimiko talking about the show and how that is how she learnt english was very sweet.

I just wanna make it clear that I have no intent of hate and this is my first time watching the show; I am at s04e05, so please no spoilers then onward.

Garrett was the only grounded character in the initial 2 seasons. He was a little bit obnoxious in season 1 but I feel he was very well crafted in season 2. He was funny, quippy and emotional. But I have noticed this bit of sadness in his personality season 3 onward. Also the plots given to him are very "He gets fixated on something and spends entire day on it" type. I don't necessarily dislike it but I just wonder why they took that route.

Also I was wondering if something happened to the actor and there is a lore that the fandom is aware of, like the "Matthew Perry losing enormous amounts of weight between season 6 and 7".

Please let me know. Again, not intending to hate on anything, just wanna know. I am emphasizing on that cuz I have had a very passive aggressive experience on this sub.

When time stops on a college campus, Eveline and a fellow student, Adam, are the only ones left moving. Together, they must navigate a landscape filled with lethal mechanical threats and "frozen" statues of people they once knew.

But as the mystery deepens, a second timeline in the year 2047 follows a detective investigating a high-tech corporate heist, one that may hold the key to why Eveline’s world has fractured.

Feedback Requested: I’m looking for thoughts on the pacing between the two timelines and how well the world-building pulls you in.

People often call Snyder fans a cult, and I feel that it is extremely unfair to people who are genuinely a fan. The biggest telltale sign of a cult is feeling nothing is wrong with the thing/person you like. So, let's play a game. I say 5 things I dislike about The Suicide Squad/peacemaker and Superman(2025), and you say 5 things you dislike about Man of steel and Batman V Superman. Fair enough?
Alright, I'll go first:

The Suicide Squad/Peacemaker-

  1. Some jokes drag on for much longer than its high point.
  2. The deaths are treated as a punch line for way too many scenes, be it side characters or even a main character.
  3. The season 2 finale of Peacemaker was essentially a setup for the future in the worst way possible, and essentially a music video.
  4. Fan favourite character Vigilante was mistreated throughout the show without much payoff to it.
  5. The alt universe brother was left alive without a proper conclusion, again, for setup of lord knows when.

Superman(2025)-

  1. The main story line is way too simple for its own goods, there are no extreme highs.
  2. The scene with the kid holding the Superman flag, could have been an amazing emotional moment if Superman came to help him instead of Green Lantern. Instead, superman was fighting to prevent another world ending thing which in the back of the mind we all knew, would work out.
  3. The camera angles at times was really goofy, and takes out the cinematic element.
  4. This one kinda rides on the back of point 2 but there is no high emotional stakes/hope moment in a "superman" movie except where he saves people a few times. I really wanted to see him save someone emotionally/mentally.
  5. The name of the "Justice gang" joke drags on for way too long and is very repetitive.

I hope you guys also give genuine answers and are honest.
