Any ideas for dog friendly to-do's on St John USVI? Hi! My husband & I went to St John USVI in August of 2017 & enjoyed our time. We're considering going back in the summer of 2027 with our extended family of 9 total (Parents - 60s/70s, siblings, 40s, kids 12-19) and our Cavalier King Charles, Paul. We've traveled quite a bit in the US with our dog - flying with him about 30 times now and also taking maybe 10-15 road trips. He's a good traveler and at this point if he can't go, we really don't want to. I'm somewhat unconcerned with getting to St John (we'll fly CVG to ATL, ATL to STT, and then ferry over to STJ). I know many folks have said that the island is NOT dog friendly overall. I'm ok with him mostly hanging out at the house/villa while we hike/beach/etc... it's too hot for him to be out generally mid-day anyway. And we'll probably be at the villa for 16-18 hours a day anyway knowing our family so he won't be alone long. That said - I'd love information from anyone who has traveled with their dog to St John! We will take him on a few hikes - early early in the morning before it gets hot and would love to take him with us to a few restaurants, bars, or breweries - again, I know we'll have to sit outside and there's not much- but what are your recommendations? Anything you've got as far as places to stay, activities, beaches (head Cruz, Salt Pond & Hansen), bars, etc!! thanks!
