Best Alcohol Root Beer

Has anyone ever had a good root beer that was alcoholic, like a normal beer that didn't taste gross? I've had two and it was lackluster unfortunately. I like A&W and my all-time beloved is Sprecher Root Beer. I know taste is subjective but are there any alcoholic brands that are don't taste like disappointment? And/or ways of how to make your own?

Grilled Cheese

I came across grilled cheeses and took em to my friends group yearly cheese, wine, cured meats and whiskey weekend where we get together and pretend to be fancy for a solid weekend while playing D&D and eating cheese and getting tipsy, but fancily.

The grilled cheeses were a big hit though the bacon one wasn't quite right. But now it's got me curious what outher cheeses out there are good straight up grilled? Tempted to add this activity to the roster and share my discoveries here for y'all to see. What's y'all think?

My Dental Implant Hell Rant: Advice?

I swear if I get told by one more person that their friend or distant relative got MediCal to pay for their dental implants I'm going to rip their teeth out and make them fucking eat em! This is more of a therapeutic rant more than anything but real advice would be great. But it boils down to insurance practically lied and got screwed by a dentist but have no solid proof as it was just an oral contact and a promise not met. No money no real options.

It's hard to hear this hope because with this advice that it CAN be done but they suddenly don't want to elaborate an ghost me the moment I start begging for names of these unicorn dentists that works with MediCal for full set implants. Where to go to in MediCal that magically deems them medically necessary, because I definitely do, I am not getting heard. In a nutshell I can't get dentures because I have been without teeth for long enough now they will be impossible. Implants are my only option now but after they ripped all my teeth out they said the only cover DENTURES, tooth implants are considered "purely cosmetic."

So basically only the ritch are allowed to have something as important as HAVING TEETH. Those boney pegs that allow people to enjoy their food an process it with efficiency an not choke? No, what makes this all worse is my illness has done enough nerve damage that my throat only swallows at half strength and my gag reflex is very weak as well, so I keep getting told by doctors that it's imperative I really chew up my food or I'll seriously choke. And I have three times now the latest one allmost killing me.

And it's totally not like I can save up for this because I TRIED THAT and got screwed out of all the money I saved, I sold EVERYTHING. Absolutely everything (asides my inherited jewelry) and asked for help from those around me, it was a big event. Managed to barely get the money for the first half of the surgery but we had to get them in sooner rather than later to prevent the bone from thinning further. It was/is a race against the clock.

For those who don't know the longer the teeth are gone the thinner the bone that normally houses you teeth all thin the longer it's not supporting something, like the pegs.

I thankfully did manage to find a charitable dentist willing to work with me at lower cost then normal after learning of my condition. He had lots of good reviews, we thought we had looked fairly well despite having little time to do it. But once I got the bottom set done and planning on the top ones halfway through the dentist abandoned me. He said he could not do the other half at the promised price and then only six-ish months in the bottom set popped off their screws/pegs and has since left me with six exposed screws!! He said he could replace it for full price only and basically said I must have been using them wrong, blaming me and now he is practically ghosting me.

People say sue but we have little ground to stand on an even if we could I don't have the time or health to pursue a lawsuit. And now the already crappy dentures on the top are now worthless. Even though the bottoms never aligned with them perfectly in the first place they kept the bone from thinning. But that was a prosigure we were hoping to have the time to possibly save up more for before getting the tops but it's hopeless now. Every place we have talked to practically say the same thing. They don't want to work with another dentists work and they need more money then I could ever afford. Had a dentist laugh an hang up when I did ask how much it would cost to get me teeth again.

So here I am with metal that's turning my tongue into hamburger, no dentists wants to take me on because of the pegs, no more money (I'm actually in debt now just trying to stay off the street.) I have absolutely no hope now, no help on where to go to get help if there even is any. Now I only go out with a medical mask on. An I know it sounds stupid but I miss the tooth pains because at least then I had a smile that didn't make me look like a meth-head.

Has Anyone Tried El Dorado 25 Year Special Reserve?

Has anyone tried this rum El Dorado 25yr Special Reserve? Or have a good idea on the quality, I know taste is personally subjective. But still, I like rums but I'm far from an expert so I'm hesitant. And it doesn't hurt to ask round a little.

My cousin is offering it for our brand new gas grill gotten for a pool side grill/bar project that was shelved. We got it for free but can't use em now. The rum I do know how much it's worth online but I'm more curious in its taste, because what I do know is "expensive doesn't necessarily mean good".
