I want to know before I graduate. Is there a specific rule or restricted images that I can and can’t put on my cap?

I had this argument with a friend of mine who said La Llorna is a Cryptid from Mexico. I said no it’s not it’s a legend from Spain. Can someone confirm who’s actually right?

I’m new to Cryptids and just getting back after reading the Jersey Devil Story but I wanted to know where should I go if I want to know more Cryptids that belong to America? Like should I read some Weird N.J. Or some Cryptozoology books?
