Started taking drawing/sketching seriously yesterday, looking for critiques/advice

Hi!! I just started drawing yesterday and actually put some real effort into it and realized that I’m not that terrible at it. Everything I’ve drawn so far has been from reference, I’ve noticed that without a reference I can’t draw very well at all. I’m not really sure where to go from here or how to improve. Any tips on what/how to practice and critiques on what I have currently are greatly appreciated!!!

How do I improve?

Hi!! So I just starting drawing literally yesterday and discovered I kind of don’t suck at it. Everything I’ve drawn thus far has been from reference, if I don’t have a reference I suddenly have the skill of a preschooler. I’m just lost on where to go from here. I’m not really sure how to practice it to get better. Any tips on what I’ve got so far?
