9 months ago I bought a 22in #Bauer scroll saw wanting to expand on the wood artwork that I was making. Little did I know that it would turn into an addiction. I have easily put 500 hours on the tool and love pushing the boundaries of what I can create. I’m still fairly new to the Reddit world but figured this was a good place to start sharing my work.

I wanted to make some art and after burning out from a lot of artstyles that didnt match my likings i thought chibi was quite fun and easy to make, just began yesterday and stuff, it ended like this...

Im not good at shading or backgrounds at all so i guess i didnt do it??? guess ill have to practice it... the eyes are a pain to make sometimes T_T

Im gonna try to improve, i think its mid, but im still kinda happy of my first result

Still i could take some tips on some stuff... like the ones i mentioned behind... also are the proportions good enough? What can i improve when doinf sketches in general? I took my own pace to learn stuff slowly and trying to not skip to more advanced stuff inmediatly but is that too slow? Should i perhaps try something else? How does one 'practice'? I got a lot of questions and beginner tutorials only confuse me more.

Decided to use some dark colors and focus on his intense expression. Used ink and alcohol markers in my sketchbook. I hope I captured that menacing look! What do you guys think? Feedbacks are welcome.

Whenever I draw Alucard, I always think of this iconic line: "The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame." Here is my latest marker sketch.

Finally filled another page in my sketchbook. I really wanted to capture that intense look of his, so I went heavy on the shadows and focused on the lighting.

My hand is literally cramping from the hair and the headband details lol. Added that red pop for the sharingan at the very end to make it stand out.

What do you guys think? Did I nail the vibe or is something off?

Literally just finished this. There is nothing like drawing Alucard when he finally cuts loose!

Wanted to capture that iconic, insane grin and pure chaos energy. I really focused on high contrast with deep black and vibrant red markers to make it feel dangerous.

Technical Check: Medium: Traditional (Alcohol Markers and Fine-liners).

Style: Angry and Aggressive Linework.

Who else thinks Hellsing Ultimate has the wildest moments in anime? Let me know what you think of this manic vibe!

I’ve been working on this sketch of Mahito for a bit. Tried to capture that smug look he always has when he’s about to mess someone up. Honestly, as much as I hate him, his design is just too cool not to draw.

Everything’s hand-drawn in my sketchbook. I’m pretty stoked with how the shading turned out, especially on the stitches. What do you guys think? Does he look punchable enough?
