The new Gemini model arrangement is extremely confusing

OK I have the paid plan for $20 or so.

Today I wake up and see the stand-alone “thinking” toggle gone.

But “Thinking” it’s not gone altogether.

There are a bunch of other “thinking” options, both in the flash and the “Pro” options. And as if that weren’t confusing enough, there is a Flash “Lite”.Let’s be clear. In technology, Lite means “sucks. But that’s OK. I’m not here to debate the quality of models, but to be clear about what each one does and how it compares to the others.

Every single option has both the “Standard thinking” and “Extended Thinking” sub-options.

Does Lite with entended thinking reason longer than Flash with standard thinking? is Pro with extended thinking’s a more advanced than the previous stand-alone “Thinking” option?

Enlighten me.
