I stumbled across this set at a showroom a few weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about it. It's two pieces, one taller and one lower, and the way they sit together has this layered effect I find really appealing. The surface caught my eye too. It's not really a pattern, more like the wood tones come together naturally in a way that has a lot of depth to it.

My living room is pretty small and my boyfriend thinks one table is enough. Would this be too much in a compact space?
