Bi-monthly book subscription preference

I’m coming to the realisation that I personally much prefer the idea of Bi-monthly subs. I think it’s much more manageable for myself both cost wise but also keeping track of my renewals and skips etc… I also feel like more time and care can be taken designing the book in between each box. I also don’t end up with as many books on my TBR if I haven’t already read them.

What is everyone else’s opinions?

Ruined By Fiction Red Rising 2nd Arc Sprayed Edge Editions

Opinions?

Also I saw someone on TikTok received the first trilogy with warped dust jackets and they seem to be bigger than the standard size of these books. Her alternate Bronwyn.psd dust jackets wouldn’t fit on the RBF editions.

Anyone else bought the first trilogy of these and have any input/review of them?

SF&F sub so far…

For those who have the SF&F sub, which months so far have you kept and which months have you skipped? And why did you make decisions to keep/skip particular books, was it the book itself or artist choices etc…

It would be interesting to see a general roundup of how many of the books in the sub so far people have been interested in overall.

Do you think it was a wise decision to switch the sub from bi-monthly to monthly? If there’s anything you think would be an improvement to the sub what would it be?

BFDC Shatter Me Naked Hardcover, Endpaper and Reverse Dust Jacket Reveals

They seriously didn’t think that the naked hardcover art/concept would’ve been better as the front dust jackets, if they went ahead and put some text on them. Then the character art on the grey background could’ve been the naked hardcover instead.

Obviously we haven’t seen the first sub book from Bewitched Pages yet. However, now that they’re getting the ball rolling, which other book sub do we think will be given a run for its money?

We can try to predict the aesthetic they’re mostly leaning towards off of bewitched pages’ previous books and their artist reveals for the sub. Who’s going to have a bit more competition now?

I’ve skipped the SFF June box on the 30th of April. I’ve received an email today reminding me that I’ll be charged on the 5th of May for my sub renewal. Is it standard to still receive this email even if I’ve skipped with the Google skip form?

Are people happy with their sets now that they’re finally arriving? Unfortunately mine are still not in the best condition even after they’ve moved fulfilment centres twice to avoid this issue.

I’ve had to have a book replaced with previous order as well…

Based off of Autumns guess for the first sub trilogy >!The Infernal Devices!< and Jeff Brown’s previous work, what do you predict will be the chosen design elements for the dust jackets/edges?
