These people do not think for themselves. I’ve been reading “I would vote for a dying horse” type comments on Reddit and honestly I think it’s terrible for democracy. When a party knows their base will vote for literally anyone just to stop the other side, they have zero incentive to run quality candidates. They don't have to earn your vote; they just have to be "not the other guy”. Which is a sentiment that’s been brewing on the left for a while now

Remember this next time they call you brainwashed, bootlicker, or part of a cult. They’re only saying these things because they’re guilty of them themselves
