Needing some help figuring out a software that I think might only work with windows 98
I've found a little robot kit that's really old but I want to try to get it working. Its manuals and software come on 2 different disks, in which I've downloaded all of the files from onto my computer. I try to open up the exe file for the software, and it opens and greets me and all that, but after I click "next", it says, "Can't Copy Inf file Failed to Install!!!". Can anyone help me figure out what that means and how to proceed?
I'm taking a guess about it only running on Windows 98 because of the brief reading I've done of the manuals (most of which are in Japanese), so I thought of emulating Windows 98 somehow, but I have no idea how to do that either. I'm fairly new to this kind of stuff, so I don't even know if that's a thing that I can do.
Anyone have any suggestions? If you need screenshots or more information, I'd be more than happy to provide anything. Thanks in advance
