Hello there guys,
I've been trying to find a PDF reader for Linux KDE Plasma 6.6.4 that has some specific (but quite straightforward) features as below:
<Viewing>
• can show thumbnails;
• can show embedded headings/bookmarks;
<Search>
• highlights all matches;
• highlights the current match with a distinctive color;
• shows the info of "X of Y" regarding the search results;
<Hyper Links>
• works for external links to webpages;
• works for links to local files.
-------------
The readers I have tried so far are:
Okular, Master PDF, OnlyOffice PDF, Evince (Document Viewer), Stirling PDF, QPDFView, PDF Studio, Foxit, MuPDF etc.
None of these satisfies all of the above, though I believe those are all basic functions.
I also tried to install Adobe Acrobat via Bottles and Wine, I have been unable to get them to work on KDE Plasma.
Further, I tried a number of browser extensions only to find that browsers basically do not support hyperlinks to local files.
What do you guys think I should try?
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks a lot :)
