It's just an idea:

Do you think it is possible that the male child learned to subconciusly synchronise to the mothers hormone cycle(menstrual cycle), in order to survive the living conditions?

As the mother is using the child as a tool to regulate their monthly hormone changes, the male child needs to internalise a system to predict the various transgressional behaviours by the mother.

By synchronising their own hormone cycle to the mothers, the male child is able to set the clock for what problems happen at which times.

It's a famous example of biological synchronisation, that females menstrual cycles align when they are in close contact over time.

Obviously males lack the biology to ovulate, but they share the same hormones.
