Anyone wants to get a drink in the next few days?
Not sure if this is appropriate to be posting here. But I guess I'm giving it a shot.
I'm 33F, straight. Asian, been in Notts for a few years, regular 9-5 grind. I like reading (fiction, mostly thrillers), good films, exploring new cusines, red wine/gin depending on the company/my mood, i like to run/long walks.
I'm so sick of dating apps, most people on there don't really want to meet in real life, but want constant online validation. I really miss actually meeting someone in person, beimg aaked out on actual dates, slow conversations that go beyond surface-level, someone who is respectful and actually makes an effort, none of the creepy stuff..all the nice stuff. Haha.
I do see some posts on here where people are looking to make friends/go on dates.
I guess I what I'm looking for is just to meet someone, get a few drinks and get to know someone organically, see how it goes.
