We are building B2B software products across CRM, texting, calling workflows, insurance/health tech, dashboards, integrations, admin tools, and internal business systems. The first products this role will touch are HealthPay and AthenaText.

This role is not pure Python, but Python/FastAPI experience is a strong plus, especially for AthenaText and backend service work.

The non-negotiables are Next.js, TypeScript, and Postgres. We need someone who can work across the stack but is especially strong on backend architecture, APIs, database design, integrations, and multi-tenant systems.

Postgres matters

You should understand Postgres beyond ORM usage. RLS, triggers, raw SQL, schema design, permissions, and multi-tenant architecture are important for this role.

What you’ll work on

Your first 30 days will involve onboarding into HealthPay, understanding the multi-tenant architecture, fixing backlog bugs, building UI pages and API routes, and shipping a meaningful feature or module independently.

After that, you’ll work across HealthPay, AthenaText, and other Powo Studios products.

AI-first development

We use Claude Code and AI agents heavily. You should be comfortable using AI tools, running parallel agent sessions, reviewing AI output critically, and breaking down engineering work for agents.

This is not a vibe-coding role. You need to be able to engineer without AI and explain your decisions clearly.

Good fit

You are a strong individual contributor who can grow into a tech lead. You can own production features, make architecture decisions, communicate directly with the founder, review code, and ship without hand-holding.

We are a founder-led software company building B2B products across CRM, texting, calling workflows, insurance/health tech, dashboards, integrations, admin tools, and internal systems. This is not agency work or client work. Everything you build will be for companies and products under the Powo Studios umbrella.

What you’ll do

You will own backend-heavy full-stack work across active SaaS products. That includes APIs, database architecture, multi-tenant systems, dashboards, integrations, admin tooling, bug fixes, and new product modules.

This is not a role for someone who can only vibe-code. You need to be a real engineer first.
