So I took the panel off of the back of the freezer (after unplugging it.) The model is WRT138FZDW00. I got the ice off with a hair dryer (very easy) and still have it unplugged. My question is, what failure is causing this? Closed system? Defrost loop? We *think* the door may have been left open for an extended period of time. The last week the freezer remains at 40° F no matter what setting or reset you do. Looking to see what I need to repair before I reassemble. If you stand in front of the freezer this is the top right corner of the evaporator unit.
